The airport in Lukla was very small as expected, but actually quite scenic. The runway is short and on a hill, so taking off is scary because you pretty much drop off a cliff if you don't take off in time. Landing is also uncomfortable because you land on the end of a cliff and have to stop quickly or you crash into a hill.
