Surfers Paradise is not the type of city that has anything unique to offer. The things you’ll be doing here are more traditional types of tourism. You may find yourself on a boat cruise through the canals, taking surf lessons, realxing on the beach, kayaking, or visiting one of the many theme parks. This isn’t to say it’s not worth a visit, especially if you’re around Southern (Brisbane area). Surfers Paradise is a little more than an hour long train from Brisbane, costing about $14 each way.
