Maybe the ugliest goat I've ever seen, I had a soft spot for this guy at the Tiger Temple in Thailand
In my travels I've come across a lot of funny looking animals, and I always take pictures when I do. I don't know what it is, but I love photographing animals and catching them in that awkward moment of curiosity. I find them hilarious, their similarities to humans, and their differences. Unfortunately around the world a lot of these animals have lived in less than desirable conditions, but I do my best to give them a bit of food or love whenever possible. This is a collection of some of the funniest animals I've come across throughout my world travels.

Me struggling as I finish the hike up the Mt. Whitney snow chute
Mt. Whitney, the tallest point in the Sierra Nevadas and continental United States, is a popular climb during the California summer months. At around 21 miles round trip, climbing 6,132ft up to the peak at 14,497ft (4,418.69m), the hike is a doable in a day, but a challenge for those not in good shape (like me). As if it weren't enough of a challenge already, we attempted the summit early in the season while it still had a lot of snow cover.

The Braşov Sign in Braşov, Transylvania: Romania’s Hollywood Sign
When in Transylvania, you'll likely notice the Braşov sign perched up on the hill of Braşov. Get some exercise and spend a half day hiking up and down. You'll be able to find the trail just by walking up to the hill from wherever you are in town. The hike is moderate, but know if you're coming fresh off the Hike From Buşteni To Babele, that you will probably feel this one also. Enjoy the views of Braşov from the highest point around.
