The Monastery hidden deep in the mountains of Petra
One of my favorite places I've been to in all my travels has to be The Ancient City of Petra in Jordan. Petra is a UNESCO World Heritage site, and a New 7 Wonder of the World, so there are plenty of resources for you to get detailed information about it. BBC calls Petra a top 40 must see place before you die, and UNESCO says it's "one of the most precious cultural properties of man's cultural heritage". These are very bold statements, and I agree with both wholeheartedly.

Horses stopped in front of the world famous pyramids of Giza
The best way to see the Pyramids of Giza in detail is by horse. On foot it takes forever to get around the massive area, plus it's extremely hot. Camels are probably the most uncomfortable animal in the world to ride, I don't know how people cross the desert on them. So we're left with dirt bikes, or horses... good luck renting a dirt bike in Giza.

Maybe the ugliest goat I've ever seen, I had a soft spot for this guy at the Tiger Temple in Thailand
In my travels I've come across a lot of funny looking animals, and I always take pictures when I do. I don't know what it is, but I love photographing animals and catching them in that awkward moment of curiosity. I find them hilarious, their similarities to humans, and their differences. Unfortunately around the world a lot of these animals have lived in less than desirable conditions, but I do my best to give them a bit of food or love whenever possible. This is a collection of some of the funniest animals I've come across throughout my world travels.
