The buildings and road along the beach in Nice
Many associate Nice with all the glitz and glamour of the red carpet and the neighbouring Cannes Film Festival. But for the majority of us not on a celebrity budget, Nice will glimmer just as brightly for those looking to book a low-cost holiday.

Looking down the street of Paris on a cloudy afternoon
I came upon a website the other day which had some really cool videos, a couple of which took place in Paris. I thought they were worth posting here, and decided to look for more. Turns out there are a lot of really cool videos of Paris. Below are a handful of the best I found around the web, if you have any more please post links in the comments.

Bikes lined up at a Velib station in downtown Paris
You've probably seen it before, bicycles for rent from a machine, randomly setup around a city. It's not unique to Paris, but its a cheap, quick, and cool way to find your way around the city. You'll need to buy a ticket for the day for 1€, then trips less than 30 minutes are free, the next half hour is 1€, the following half hour is 2€, and from then on it costs 4€ per 30 minutes. You're then free to bike through Paris for as long as you like, and drop it off at any other station when you're done. Be warned that if your credit card doesn't use the chip and pin system, you won't be able to use it for Velib.

View of Andorra La Vella
If you're trying to figure out how to get from France to Spain during or around summer, then here's the answer. Rent a car and drive through the Pyrenees. If you enjoy driving, rent something sporty for the mountain roads. Stop and spend a few hours in the highest capital in Europe, Andorra La Vella. Enjoy the fresh mountain air, snap some photos, buy some novelty size bottles of alcohol for cheap, then continue on the pleasant mountain drive. Keep your eye out for castle ruins spread throughout, especially between Andorra and Spain. Expect steep tolls when driving the roads in France.
