The Hagia Sophia Mosque in Istanbul
Q. Hope everything is going well with you. Nicole and I are doing our honeymoon in Turkey and I wanted to ask you a couple of questions. We are flying into Istanbul and staying there for 4 or 5 days and then we are thinking about going to Bodrum. Have you been there before? Is it cool? Is there anywhere else you would recommend over it?

View down Ilgaz Mountain from the top of the ski lift
Ilgaz Mountain in Turkey was much different than any US resort I've been too. To start, you can buy lift tickets per ride, or per day, which was pretty cool. Prices were cheap, but lines were long. Because of the single ride tickets, many patrons chose to ride the lift not to ski, but just to experience the views, which lead to lift waits exceeding an hour. Ilgaz is the smallest resort in Turkey, boasting just 2 lifts, neither of which are for beginners. Because of this it was very crowded, but still a nice place to visit.
