Monkey vs King Cobra

While enjoying a meal on the beach at Mt. Lavinia, a quick train ride from Colombo, I was approached by a man with a python around his neck and a monkey on a chain. He asked if I wanted a photo with the snake, I said no thanks. He then got a little sketchy, and whispered he had a spitting white king cobra in his bag, and asked if I wanted to see. The idea of a spitting cobra anywhere near me was not appealing, then I realized he was a snake charmer and figured I couldn't pass it up. After his show, I asked if the monkey is scared of the cobra. He said no and pulled the monkey close, and the monkey started messing with the cobra and dodging its strikes with ease. Still don't know why the cobra was not spitting, maybe it was de-fanged, but it was a cool little show.
